I need some help with FLF. I recently bought a four stalk tree... It arrived in pretty bad shape. (I live in London and it was delivered during a snow storm...I won't do that again!) I've repotted and it is recovering nicely ... Even has new growth. Except one stalk which has completely died. Not one leaf, brown and shriveled. BUT I noticed at the base of the stalk there is new growth...right at the soil line. Tiny little neon green nubs. What shall I do? I can tell the top of the stalk is totally dead and hollow... Do I cut it down to where there is living tissue??? Or just leave it??? Please help! Thank you so much!

I would cut off the dead stalk as you suggest.
Have you asked the seller though, about delivering with bad weather predicted? Dumb on their part.

I agree
Call them, and cut it back.
