Maryland (Zone 7a)
The zone maps are out of date. Climate change is slowly moving the zones north in the northern hemisphere. Best I can tell, the zones are moving north about 5 miles per year. So check the old zone maps and keep the changes in mind.

My average last frost date was April 24th 30 years ago; now it is April 20. And more erratic.
