|I noticed today that my panda ear plant has little white fibers/stems growing horizontally out of its stems. I'm new to caring for panda ears and don't know much about plants and their diseases. I need to know if it's normal or need to do something to help it.
I keep my panda ear inside right now near a window due to it being cold in Michigan. I've had him for almost a year and have never had problems until this. I use tap water when his soil gets completely dry. I'm switching to using filtered water now. I did just replant him into a larger pot about a month ago using cactus, palm, and citrus soil.

| Your plant looks fine to me. Succulent plants will often put out roots where you wouldn't expect them. You could cut them off, or if you want more plants, you could cut the section with the roots and plant it to have a new plant.
