Need to identify name of 2 plants. one is flower plant and another I found during trail in Paris mountain state park

First one is probably Vinca major..
When counting, try not to mix chickens with blessings.

The second could be a Juniper.

Please forgive my error ... it's definitely not a native, don't know what I was thinking. Vinca major is invasive in many areas and it's listed as a severe threat in S.C. https://www.se-eppc.org/southc...
