Well, I am stumped as I have never grown this but it looks very familiar. A friend texted it to me, it's in her garden and she has no idea where it came from but wants more. Blooms remind me of phlox but the leaves don't. But I've never grown phlox Shrug!

It does look like Money Plant (Lunaria annua)

Yes, Money Plant (Lunaria annua). I had them migrating all over my garden in California.
