Can this plant tolerate 1/2 day full sun? I currently have it as a understory plant but I love it so much I want to replant where I can enjoy it.
would this variety require more shade due to its lighter color foliage?

Welcome!

Where is the tree located? (city, state....)

Is it afternoon sun or morning sun?

It should be fine. The bigger problem might be disturbing the roots after it has leafed out. They are pretty sensitive to being disturbed.

Good luck!
