It is actually a tree. A more appropriate common name is Pencil Tree or Milk Tree. If given space these will get over 40 feet tall with big trunks.

Oh my! I would love to make this a tree! I love the look of it. I had to keep mine chopping down because it starts to lean or get crooked when it is too big. Hard to believe that I got these as 6 inches cuttings.
