Hello everyone, I just noticed that this fan looks like is dividing, it seems it's separating in two.
What does this mean? Will a scape appear in the middle?
It's the first time I notice this.
Picture is a bit blurry, sorry. The thin green thing in the middle is a leaf.
Thanks for looking!

Hi Sabrina,

I've had a few of mine start twisting and dividing recently. I put a 2015 seedling in a bed back in the fall. It was one fan, but after the twisting is done I started shouting. It has divided itself into 7 fans.

So far no scape on those multiplying.

I have some other that looks "twisted" I will keep an eye on them!

I knew fans will appear at sides, and start as small fans.. I wasn't aware of this!

This is a first for me and couldn't believe the increase. I haven't seen it bloom yet, but it'll be my luck it will have the ugliest blooms. Rolling on the floor laughing

Hilarious! @GaNinFl

I hope not! But one man's trash is another's treasure- someone might like them.

With such lovely parents it can't be all that ugly! I'll be watching the twisting fan carefully. That Dl, Taffeta Mist, didn't bloom until june the past year, I'm curious about what it will do.
The past year it produced a monster big prolification that started almost from the base of the scape. It was big as its mama plant.

The plant ended splitting in three fans.. and a scape.
Everything is twisted. I guess it's affected by spring sickness.
