Several of my Iris did not bloom last year, I got great foliage but no flowers, any suggestions, all are in sunny areas, thanks for the help.

Iris need to be divided every few years, and fertilized, for good bloom. And they prefer full sun. Can you add a picture? Have they grown in the same spot for a number of years?

And are they planted too deep perhaps, that can hinder blooms too.

"In sandy soils, the rhizome can be covered by 1/2 inch of soil. In clay soils, the top surface of the rhizome should be exposed."
