Very nice bloom, I am expecting my first in a couple of days, it is always interesting to watch the race and see which cultivar blooms first in the garden each year.

Thanks Larry, 'Country Pride' is keeping pace with last year as it was one of the first to bloom. Helix was actually my first of 2016. However, this year Helix is half of what it looked like, and it has yet to produce a scape. I am very disappointed in it, at it may go the way of the dodo around here. I will try to move it first, but if it doesn't shape up, its outa here...

Now more about CP, its scape is coming in about 18-20" which I about 8" shorter than what is registered here. This is the second year in the spot its in, so that may have something to do with it. I will say though, that the scape is sturdier than last year, and is standing almost strait. Last year it couldn't support a single bloom without dropping over. Yesterday it supported a multiple bloom with very little sway. A Thumbs up in my book. It is slow to increase so far, but hoping that this too will change as the plant matures to the spot.

I've been interested in Helix for sometime, so I will watch with interest how it progresses in your garden.

Disappointed in the appearances of the bloom, and the plant has wispy fans. Hoping it will bloom this year.
