Hello, I am a brand new garderner this year. I have done tons of research and am excited to take on this challenge. I am going to be 1 to 3 weeks late sowing some of my veggie seeds, what kind of impact can I expect that to have? I am planting spinach, romaine, carrots, snap peas, cucumbers, zucchini, and yellow squash. Thanks for your guidance

Some wont care and can be planted and replanted all season long. Spinach and radishes are like that. Some need a whole season to grow. Tomatoes and peppers are like that.

You are a little early for cuc's, zuc's and squash in Lakewood. When I lived north of SEA I would plant squash in late May. The others can go out now.

well good then i am worrying over nothing...my seed germinator finally shipped but won't be here until the 13th Sad I will be ready and begin to sow the first batch when it gets here. Thank you so much for your input. When will squash and cuc's be ready? My research states I should plant them in ground but that makes me nervous. Is it totally bad to sow them inside if I am extra mindful of root structure when transplanting?

Wellcome : Punk 😎!!!
Great to hear your gettin into vege gardening ! Thumbs up
I allways say. Better late than never. Thumbs up
Get cool weather stuff planted.
Warm weather stuff if its past frost date. Or use hot caps. Best to start warm weather stuff 8 weeks before last frost date inside house.
When nurseries get tomatoes etc. In store. Thats your clue to direct seed in ground.

Enjoy ! And ! Rock On ###
