Looks like a Pine seedling

I agree--looks like a pine seedling of some sort. Break off a teeny piece of one of the needles and smoosh it. Does it smell like pine?

I'll remember to do that when I get home. The second picture is of a seed still on it, that's what they look like?

And the entire thing is very soft. Not brittle like a pine tree.

There more of a "leaf" rather a needle

Pine needles are leaves.

Pine nuts come in different shapes, colors, and sizes.

My first thought was that it reminded me of Moa (Psilotum nudum) but not with that brown seed. As others have suggested, it does look a lot like a Pine Seedling.

Here is a photograph of various pine nuts (AKA pine tree seeds): https://pinenutsyndrome.files....

That is only the inner portion--the outer portion covers it neatly and is usually a dark brown, grayish, or black. But this photo shows how much they can vary in size and shape.
Keep going!
