Dave and Trish, I just completed the Master Gardeners course in Cherokee county. Dave, your presentation on permaculture was fascinating and motivating. I learned quite a bit. And this site is phenomenal!

I am volunteering at the set up Friday for the Master Gardeners plant sale and then the sale on Saturday. As a newbie, I don't know how this works but I have been told you will have plants for sale as well. I am looking for some lavender plants. Is this something you will have? If not, do you know the best place to get lavender that grows here in east Texas?

Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Lara

Hi Lara,

Thanks for the kind words. I always enjoy giving the permaculture class each year. As for the lavender, we won't sell any. I will say we've had the best luck growing spanish lavender but even that can be a challenge to grow here. I don't know of any sources locally. We got ours by ordering it online.

See you Saturday!

Dave,
Curious if you have tried this lavender? Lavandula x intermedia Phenomenal

Thanks
