Any recommendations for a trustworthy nursery (preferably in Friendswood, Pearland, and/or League City areas) to get a few yards of good soil/mix for a raised garden.

Welcome! Rebii
I am up in Montgomery County so I am not too familiar with the nurseries in your area.

I would suggest reviewing some of Randy Lemmon's sponsors @ http://www.randylemmon.com/par... . Living Earth is one of them and I know they are all over the place (google search shows one in League City). When (of if you call) I would state that you got there information from GardenLine - (if you order from them and do not get what you ordered or they are rude, etc. then I would report them back to GardenLine) . Mixed reviews on Google but maybe look at some of the others that are his sponsors.
