Use a dedicated crab grass killer and pull the ones that do not die, EVERY YEAR without stopping.
If you stop because you think you have it controlled, welcome to hell.

Can you tell us whether this is in a lawn, or in an ornamental flower bed? If in a lawn do you know what desirable turfgrasses you have in the lawn (not all turfgrasses are tolerant of crabgrass herbicides)? I'm assuming it is confirmed to be crabgrass and not quack grass because the two names are often confused? It would also help to know roughly where you are in the world.
