Hi OliveCampbell, I don't grow Crown of Thorns myself because I dislike thorny plants but you can read about growing conditions for it here in our database: Crown of Thorns (Euphorbia milii)

I have some in my greenhouse now. I used to keep them as houseplants, but they didn't bloom well for me. I had them in bright light, and tried to mist them a few times a day.
Now that they're in the greenhouse they are blooming non- stop. I think they like the higher humidity and brighter light. Cuttings root very easily, so you might want to make a few more plants for insurance.
