I brought this bush from Orlando. It is about 6' tall, and has white flowers nearly year around, which develop into a little fruit that looks like a miniature orange. The mockingbirds eat them until they can barely fly - intoxicated or over weight? It is very prolific. I'll try to find a pic from last year with the fruit and post later. These pics are current.
Any help is appreciated!
Regards,
NaniMadrina

Hi Bonitafiles, Welcome!

Your lovely shrub reminds me of Twoleaf Nightshade (Solanum diphyllum) which someone identified for me recently. We have it popping up in our yard here in Sebastian.

It's not a Florida native, it's considered a Category II invasive in the state: https://plants.ifas.ufl.edu/pl...

I've submitted a proposal to move this page over to the Plant Identification Forum so that others can chime in with suggestions in case I haven't given the correct identification. You will be notified each time someone responds.
