Just got 2 pothos plants last week. They are sufficiently watered, but noticed a few leaves are turning yellow. Could this be that they need more sunlight? When I water them, should I use just plain water, or can I use the same Miracle Gro plant food I use outside for my vegetable garden?

You may have watered them too much. They thrive on neglect, and they don't generally like direct sun.

If the leaves turning yellow are the older leaves, that's okay. It may be just adjusting to your current set-up. I would not feed it any plant food as yet, since it is in some adjustment distress. My pothos are in water gel beads and quite away from the windows, and they thrive well, but there is good airflow at root level.

Although it loves moisture, always practice some good interval in watering too to allow some air below.

Agreed, do not use any fertilizer. They are low light plants = no direct sun. Gene
