My bottle Brush is still in bloom however, leaves several large branches are turning brown and fall off. Is the tree dying or what can I do to stop this

Could be water problem.
Was it severely pruned ?

Mine is both blooming - in its typical rather pathetic way - and turning brown. I can see no reason.

Tree location is Houston Texas, it has not been pruned back (too high), no signs of bugs anywhere

Mine looks much the same; most of the damage at the top.I wondered whether it was from the two really cold nights we had after the warm winter.

My 6 year old trees look the same in Texas City. Breaks my heart - I love these trees.
