Ok, so I am not very knowledgeable about plants! Which is why I'm here! To learn! I bought this plant for $1 on clearance. I thought it was cute, but I don't know what it is! So I have no clue what kind of care to give it! I took it outside to plant it in a different pot, and left it out there for a day! Big mistake. The sun turned its leaves very white! Thanks!

It could also be this:
Chinese Evergreen (Aglaonema 'Snow White')

Depends upon how big the leaves are. If they're quite small, like 2in. long or so, then it may be the Polka Dot plant. If the leaves are bigger, maybe the Chinese Evergreen. The more light it gets, the more white will appear on the leaves, I think. Most people grow it in the shade or indoors to keep the pretty dappled color.

Ask a Question for plant ID is never the wrong place to start! But we have some avid plant ID members who frequent this forum so I always move ID threads over here. nodding
