Hi, can anyone help with identifying this herb growing over rocks in Guatemala, Izabal forest?

Pilea microphylla. It's called Artillery Fern due to its lacy appearance, but is not actually a fern at all. Some people actually grow it on purpose Blinking , but for many others it's a relatively harmless but invasive weed that will spread itself all over the place - gardens, pots, cracks in the concrete, pets ...ok, maybe not fast moving pets. If you even whisper that you heard there was soil nearby it will spread there. Thumbs down

It's not very hardy, though, so that's one way to control it (if you live somewhere that gets good winter freezes).
