I'm having a problem with my seedlings. I planted them in coir and since there's no nutrients in coir I've been feeding them fish emulsion with every watering. At first I halved the amount per gallon of water but when it didn't seem to make a difference I changed up to what the label directions said. It still didn't make a difference, in fact I think its getting worse.

Would it hurt them to make a stronger mix or do you think I should get them something like Miracle Gro?

Any help would be appreciated

Can you see how the veins are standing out and the leaves are curled?

The problem with fish emulsion is that it relies on microbes in the soil to help the fish emulsion components break down into something the plants can use. You are using coir and, as you pointed out, there's nothing in there. Switch to Miracle Gro (but use it at 1/4 to 1/2 strength).

I'm not a fan of coir - I have never had good experiences with it. This is when a whole lot of folks are going to jump in and tell you they love it. I hate it.

Thanks Daisy

This is my first and last year using coir. I'll get my Miracle Gro out tomorrow . I am worried cuz I have 3 trays each holding 8 6-paks of seedlings. I want them nice n green and happy!
