this spring as been a big on the east coast. warm enough in February to have daffodils sprout and snow in march blanketing everything. not sure exactly but 4 of the 5 patches of tulips that are planted are exhibiting the traits in the pictures.

any help would be appreciated

Compare with pictures of "tulip fire" (Botrytis tulipae) and "gray mold" (Botrytis cinerea):
