I live in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Two of my coconut palms have started to look odd. The new leaves coming out look under developed and they do not spread open.
I'm not sure if it's a nutrition deficiency or a disease.
The palms are irrigated every day or 2 in a well drained soil. the weather here is hot and humid (20c in winter and reach 40c in summers).

Attached are some pictures to show

I have never grown a coconut palm but here is some information from the University of Florida. After reading this article, I would suspect a nutritional deficiency or overwatering.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
