They are the same plant. Colors can vary according to growing conditions; light, soil, temps etc. You can see examples within many of the daylily database entries.
I often get much darker richer blooms in cooler weather. The Rice's grow their seedlings in a greenhouse which often bring on deeper colors than the outdoors where they grow them out for increase. The two images here show the faint peach pink flush.
