I've had this plant for about 2 years it's been fine and seemed happy with its position etc until now as it's started turning black and dying.. Any idea why? I keep it hydrated but not sure what it is or what I'm supposed to do. Help please

Hi Lucyherbert17, Welcome!

I believe your plant is a type of Dracaena: https://garden.org/plants/sear... but I'm not sure which one. Hopefully someone will be along soon with a more exact ID and advice for you.
