I have been searching to find a place to purchase the Oxalis Triangularis ' Fanny'. It seems the sites i have gone to do not show this particular variety. The one i am searching for has triangular leaves with purpleish red under and white flowers.
I wish to purchase this as a birthday gift for my brother. May 6 but if a little late i know hw will be just as excited. We had one in our family for over 50 years until my dad remarried and our stepmother killed it. It took her almost 8 years, but dad was able to rescue it until she used bleach water to "kill any fungus" the soil may have.
It was given as a gift to my brother when he was a preteen and will be 68 on may 6th.
Thank you for your quick reply

The problem with old time plants is that they progress/digress down the ages. The plant retains the name but looks nothing like the plant you remember. So what you knew of as Oxalis Triangularis ' Fanny' may not exist in the color form that you remember. As far as I can tell, there no longer is a plant called Oxalis Triangularis ' Fanny' with that color variation or even that name.
The other thing that happens is that someone, obviously wiser than us, comes along and changes the name. There is an Oxalis called O. regnelli 'Fanny' that may be the plant (or close to it) that you are looking for.
Here is a great nursery that has it available:
