|I have Laughing Skies it was a gift plant, it has been in my garden around 4 or 5 years. The increase here in the north has been slow the bloom is lovely although it does not have a lot of buds it could be the location where it is planted.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!

|Hate to report that, although hopeful it would turn around, I have unfortunately lost this CV. Guess I should move it over to the used to have department.

|@GANinFl, daylily growers seem to be very optimistic people. I have checked with vendors on several occasions and have been told a cultivar I was looking for was no longer in their garden due to one reason or the other. Many months later the same plant is still showing to be available on the sites, I guess their is hope eternal the plant will return. I sometimes am guilty of that myself.|

|'Laughing Skies' is my first "must have" daylily, when my Zone 6a garden was in the infancy stage, three years ago!! The color combination caught my eye right away, along with its bloom size and form, and it was love at first sight! 'Laughing Skies' is the sole culprit for my addiction to daylilies!
It grows well in my gardens, despite the shade it receives, beginning in the mid afternoon. It is increasing a bit on the slow to medium side, and the bloom colors are slightly watered down, but I chalk that up to its location in my garden. Until just a couple weeks ago, full sun locations had been at an extremely high premium, on my small city lot, but we lost a very large tree, this 2017 Spring, and I couldn't be more excited for more bloomin' holes to fill! Wink, wink - nudge, nudge!
'Laughing Skies' will be moved to that full sun location, this 2017 Spring. It will always be one of my top few faves, and it is very striking in the garden!
