Hi!

I got a rubber tree plant about 2 weeks ago. It's in a South-West facing window, so it should be getting indirect, bright light. We haven't watered it since bringing it home, and the soil is still a little moist. Avoiding over-watering it, since that seems to be a big rookie mistake.

We're seeing discolored markings on some of the leaves, where the tips look sort of rusted or burnt. This doesn't make sense to me, since the plant isn't getting much bright, hot, direct light, and one of the leaves that is discolored is on the side of the plant that gets less light than the other.

Any ideas about what's happening with our plant? Should we move it to a different spot in the room that has less light?

I greatly appreciate your advice!!
