Hello fellow earth lovers ,
just thought i'd say hi, im irish and living here in france,
My hobby and very much love is my garden, countryside life and peace perfect peace, "But" with three rescued dogs all wanting to also enjoy the joys of the wide open countryside you can guess at times the peace bit can be very testing,
Ive retired now and so have the time to spend doing countryside things such as gardening walking in the heart of the countryside,
Ive two acre garden plus a field very near to our home thats going tobe our allotment in the future.

We live in the Crues area of france and we do have four seasons ie a mildish winter, spring, summer and autumn.
Well i hope to be an active member of the forum and look forward to getting to know people who like myself enjoy what mother earth and nature has given to us all to enjoy .

Regards Smokingdonkey.

Welcome!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

It's impressive countryside around there, that's for sure. We used to live in the UK and drove through that area on occasion when vacationing in France or Spain. I remember we stayed overnight at an isolated hotel that was at quite high altitude, I think maybe near Clermont-Ferrand, I'm trying to remember the name of it.
