i planted a pink swirl hibiscus seed and it sprouted but now the leaves that appeared are gone..i keep my seedlings in a cage in my window so cats cant get to them.so what made leaves vanish?i also had a gladioulus inside same cage and its fine.i even took both starters outside on a sunny but not hot day.today though my hibiscus leaves are gone.. is this normal?does it need more sun?seedling smaller than a adults pinkie finger so its not outgrowed the starter pot its in..

The intensity of the sun isn't measured by temperature. Sunny is still sunny. I suspect the leaves burned off in the sun. If the stem is still green, the leaves will grow back.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost
