I have built a greenhouse in my backyard. We plan to expand it and make it bigger and better. But I have to install some security system inside because recently there have been reports of vandalism in our area. We have spent quite a bit of money into the greenhouse so we don't want to let it go waste. So what kind of security alarm installation would be suitable for a greenhouse? Give in your honest opinions. I am in real need of them. Thanks in advance.

We have inexpensive camera systems that are in the greenhouse and can be set to alert us to movement. They send a text to our phone, or an email to our computer. It can be set to catch the movement of a mouse, or a person. A lock on the door might help a bit, but in general if they want to get in, they will. It's a shame your area is having problems like that. This seems to be common in many places. I hope you don't experience any of it.

We have the camera system as well plus a motion detector solar LED light that lights up the place with movement. There are probably audible alarms out there as well to alert you (to call 911).

We use the Nest system all around our property. Love the system! Easy to install and you can watch in real time on your phone if you wish. You can also set up zones and phone notifications. Can't risk your investment! Good luck!

I'm in the dinosaur age of just not locking anything. We are isolated enough that if a person wants to break in, they can take all the time they want and no one would see. The few times we have been burgled have always been from our son's friends and were in their poor-behavior days. Forgiven and forgotten. It's just stuff.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
