I received an email last week from Nola saying that they were at peak bloom.
Since they are only 15 minutes away we took a trip today to see what was blooming.
If you have never been there, the view is pretty spectacular.
Things are very similar to last year when the region 14 spring regional was held there. But even with all the rain this year, Nola and Gary are on top of the weeds.
There were still some of the newer iris left from the regional.

A few garden shots. Nola's is still a working ranch but it has a rural charm that contrasts with Silicon Valley below.
Without all the hassles of the regional to worry about, they were able to get the lower garden weeded and whipped into good shape.
thank you, carl, for thebeautiful shots and tour of nola's. beautiful venue, as well as the acres of iris to ogle.
loved the shot of the cat, too. kitty looks as tho' it has the coloration of a russian blue. but its cute little face looks fuller than the one i knew named,' kermouseky'.( ker-mouse-key).

Sounds like me! Irises, Horses, chickens, ducks, turkeys, dog and lots of cats.
