I would like to plant a macfadyena unguis-cati, also known as the Monrovia yellow trumpet vine. My questions is:
Does it bloom from spring to fall, or just bloom in the spring? Is it fast-growing?

|Hi and welcome. Could you please fill in your location in your profile for us? This always helps in answering questions.
The vine you like, aka Cat's Claw Vine or creeper is classed as a Cat.1 exotic invasive plant in Florida. I'd imagine other states in the Southeast might have it in the same category. As such it's illegal to plant or propagate it.

|I'm not familiar with Cat's Claw Vine (Dolichandra unguis-cati) (Synonym Macfadyena) but the database states bloom time is Spring, late spring, early summer.
Wikipedia states that it is a rapidly growing vine.
