|When we first moved in our new house back in April 2011 we had beautiful red bud trees on the side of our house. The trees were mostly on our property line. In 2013 we had new niegbors move in next door. They cut all the branches on there side off and some of ours. Now all seven of our trees are dead. Can that cause them all to die?|

|HI & welcome! So sorry to hear that. Plantings along a property line are really a shame because they protrude onto someone else's property & can cause all sorts of problems and arguments. Are you sure the trees are not just still dormant from winter? If they are dead, you may have some form of legal recourse via litigation. Check the local regulations & seek local professional legal advise.

|Welcome to NGA, @kayskia .
Tiffany makes a good point about "maybe the trees are still dormant from winter." Mine hasn't budded out yet... where are you located? (you can fill in your location information on your profile page - click on the icon at the top right of the screen - and it will show with each of your posts.)
