I try to keep tags/markers on all of my plants but I have lost the identification maker for this iris. Anyone have any idea what variety this might be? Thanks!

Don't think it's Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Sunset Sky'), it lacks the flash of blue on the falls.

There are many that look similar, the best way to get a match to to grow a suspected one side by side.
Here is one of mine but the beard is more mustard.

Moving this thread to the Iris Forum and hopefully you'll get more possible suggestions.

Check out Crooked Little Smile too. Your blooms look smaller and rounder like CLS.

FYI Just a note that the iris that shows it's self first for Crooked Little Smile is not even close to the actual colors of the iris. It's probably CLS, but either has been photo shopped or had some camera affects on the colors.

This is pretty close to it's actual colors. Smiling I've had this iris for many years.

What do you guys think about it possibly being 'Edith Wolford'? I'm not sure if I have the brownish golden color on the margin of the falls. Here are pictures from a few years ago. It does look like some pictures of Crooked Little Smile and Megabucks. Hmmmmm........

No, not Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Edith Wolford')

Those are the same as the first picture?? Blinking They show a pale yellow standard, white markings around the beard and a pale yellow beard whose tip is edged with what appears to be white and lavender plus more purple falls.
Your first picture has a copper brownish edging around the 'shoulders' of the falls and along the fall petal edges and a larger solid rich gold beard and deep yellow standards.
I think they are two different plants.

It is planted in the exact same place. It should be the same plant but I see your point. Sometimes camera settings or post processing fouls up proper id. I'm somewhat at a loss. I am going to see if I have any other images to share. Thanks for helping!

Welcome to the iris forum, Steve. I can't be of much help with your NoID but there are folks on here who will be able to. More photos would help, does it have PBF (purple based foliage), does it bloom early or late, what is its height, do you remember where and when you acquired it. The when may help narrow down the field a bit. Smiling

Thank you. I think Calif_Sue is right. I posted pictures of two different plants. Bloom height on both about 30" so not really tall. Early bloomers too, I don't remember where I obtained these. Here is a few more pics of both plants.
