I rec'd some pods with black seeds inside. It is suppose to be a hearty vine and the say with blue flowers. Could you give me an idea of what it is and how aggressive it is regarding growing

Not a Morning Glory (wrong cotyledon)

What shape and size were the seeds and pods? If you still have some, could you post a photo?

Yes, please. We would like to see the seeds and pods if possible. Also, knowing the location would help to get a better identification.

Offhand I will hazard a guess (and it is only a guess) at Thunbergia 'Blue Glory' which is a vine and has blue flowers, the leaves similar to what I see in your photo.
