Forgive my ignorance of botany, but my grandfather has tasked me with delivering to him, from the internet, a name of the following plant. He provided me the following information:

The leaves are oval-shape,simple,variegated yellow. They are normal (not virus infected) leaves. The stems are hard woody. We grow it as an indoor ornamental potted plant.

If it helps, he lives in Egypt, and grows this plant indoors. According to him it may be a Croton (sp?) or a Ficus (sp?).

He also provided the below picture, with a pen for size perspective. Any help would be really appreciated!

It is a croton, but someone else will have to give you the correct ID. I've had this one, but can't remember the ID.
