Leaves turning rust color on podocarpus and pygmy palm. Help. What is the problem?

Can you attach some photos and let us know where in the world these plants are located?

Thank you for your reply. They are located in Melbourne, Florida. In the yard, they are located in front of the house. I do not have a way to send you a photo. The podocarpus is in a rectangle bed with eight other podocarpus. The pygmy is in its own slightly elevated bed. I hope this is helpful.

It's very difficult to diagnose a problem without seeing the plant and often even the site. If you have no way to take a photo, another option would be to take specimens to your nearest Extension office. Here's a list for Florida, I don't know which, if any, are near you:

I understand. Your reference to an Extension Office may be what I need. I will contact them Monday. Thanks for the tip.
