Plant ID forum: Identify this plant please

This tree is currently about 2 1/2 feet tall. Small white flowers with 4 petals. I don't detect a smell. Leaves are thick with rough edges. I'm wondering how big it will get. They are right by my front door and I don't want something there that will overpower it.

Looks like an Osmanthus to me.. possibly fragrans.. The flowers should be fragrant, but perhaps you need more flowers to get an impact.. They can be sheared if you want to keep it smaller, but they can get large.
When counting, try not to mix chickens with blessings.
