Hi all,
I have recently finished harvesting and sorting my Aurelian Lilium hybrid seeds. Inspired by Rick's
The thread "Martagon seed giveaway 2017" in
Lilies forum, I thought I'd offer my excess seed and OP seed to those that are interested (about 300 seeds in total). Seed has been candled, but there are a few that I am still dubious about and so am not certain they'll germinate. I have marked these below.
These crosses should all exhibit immediate epigeal germination. If you're new to starting Liliums from seed, have a look at
The thread "Starting lilies from seeds" in
Lilies forum.
Please send me a treemail with the crosses you would like. Some crosses have low seed counts, so I'll allocate seed in order of receipt and sort them to send out after the 27th of May (all requests must be in by this date, Australian Eastern Standard Time). I will update this thread if all seed is allocated prior to that date.
Please be aware of the import restrictions for your country - if you need any permits, etc. to import seed, please ensure that you meet the requirements and provide me with the necessary details so I can send you seed.
PR-G04 X PR-G05
Both were small plants, so I can't be sure what the stems will be like when mature.

PR-G16 X PR-G07
PR-G16 has a tendency for the tepals to ruffle and twist in the heat. PR-G07 kept its shape reasonably well.

PR-G80 (OP - most likely by G81)
This one came up at an angle... and kept going at an angle.
PR-G81 (OP - most likely by G80) (very low seed count from this pod)
PR-T03C (OP) - dubious as to viability of seed
Pedicels tend to arch on this one.
PR-W08 (OP) - dubious as to viability of seed
Suspect this is actually out to down facing, as it had blown over; lifted up stem to take the photo.
PR-W18 (OP) - no photo. Pale green blooms on a raceme.
Unlabelled #1 - no photo. Never saw it in bloom; 1.2m stem with 9 blooms on a raceme. Dubious as to viability of seed.
Unlabelled #2 - no photo. Never saw it in bloom; 1.8m stem with 8 blooms incl. secondaries on a raceme.
Unlabelled #3 - no photo. Never saw it in bloom; 1.2m stem with a raceme.
