I agree, a grape vine of some sort. If you did not plant it, it could very well be a "gift from the birds".

If it is a grapevine should I just let it climb on the trellis there with my clematis or will it take over?

If it's next to the clematis, it can totally cover it and also rob it of nutrients, they are quite aggressive but can be pruned back.

I agree, it looks like grape (Vitis sp.) https://garden.org/plants/brow...

For comparison here's a leaf image of one variety from our database:

I only did minor pruning on one of mine planted on the other size of my raised deck, it's trying to grab everything and anybody that gets too close! I will trim a few perhaps, most likely just tuck them in somewhere so I don't remove any growing grape clusters and then later cut it way back after getting the fruit.
Just took these shots, from the base, it's about 7 feet tall and extends about 10 on either side.

a wild grape is aggressive and will take over, it also produces virtually no usable fruit. Plus the birds get them. The berries are quite inferior to the plants you buy. It is hard to get rid of once it takes over. Also it will choke out anything around it.
