Ask your neighbors if you can turn their back yards into daylily nursery beds. And I like your idea about the glasses. I hear you. The only downside to getting Lasix eye surgery a few years ago was that I went from having a house with no dust, a garden with no weeds, and a face with no wrinkles to having a house that needs dusted, a garden that needs weeded, and oh my lord, who is that old woman in my bathroom mirror! Hilarious!
The end is nothing, the journey is all.

I hear you, my wife had the same experiences. She had both eyes done and wondered where all the dust was coming from. Now I have to be very careful not to track stuff into the house, now she can see it.
