I was moving a hosta out of a pot and noticed many brown balls with roots growing from them.
I think it is from hosta but maybe not.
Anyone else ever seen these?

It looks like it could be root nodules of Boston Fern.

Yes! I have quite a few but I am not sure how it got in the pot. Maybe I transferred soil in there.

Thanks! I have Japanese ferns ,Holly ferns and wood ferns. No Boston ferns but I guess it all the small adaptation
