Does anyone know of a site that shows the plant [s that thrive] changes between zones... and other comparisons. Like what plant that I love in 8b I may as well forget about for 6b! Just looking to save myself some time and not re-invent the wheel if this feature already exists somewhere out there!

There's a planting guide on this site.
But, climates, even in same zone numbers, make a huge difference. Sunset gardens zones are more accurate.
If we knew where you came from, and where you are know. Also, what you, want to plant , will be necessary. Thumbs up

I am in an acidic Zone 8b and my sister is in a more alkaline 5b - we have shared many plants between our yards. She does have to check zones for things coming from my yard, but since they are free, she will push the zone and often find things that will grow for her in a more sheltered site. Do you plan to dig up and take some of your plants to your new yard? Or buy fresh? Take a drive around your new neighborhood and see what is growing well for others. Find a good local nursery and befriend the staff, they will be able to steer you in the right direction re plant choices.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
