Hallo,

i plan to make a professional version of my automated balkony greenhouse with:

Greenhouse for the balkony for 2 large plant pots (like tomatoes) or 6 small plant pots (like strawberry)
Automated watering system
Nice compact design
Wifi connection
Low energy consumption
Temperature control
Thumb of 2017-05-14/marcus_84/051eee
Any ideas what functions i also can add to it?

Greetings Marcus

The biggest problems I hear about small greenhouses is that they blow away in high winds. Perhaps incorporate a way to anchor it down, both the frame and the cover? Welcome! Welcome!

If the greenhouse is totally enclosed it will need much more than a small fan for temperature control. At the least, the entire top should open up for ventilation. I'm pretty confident in saying that a lot more plants have cooked to death in the mini greenhouses than have died from cold exposure. However, they also don't protect very well from actual "cold" temperatures... so you might need to add some sort of provision for a heat source. or maybe an insulated covering?
