Found a small plant covered in buds and flowers like these. Looks like an orchid but can't find anything similar with a google search. Thanks in advance!

Hi Kally, Welcome!

I lived in Volusia county for 43 years (Daytona Beach) until moving to Sebastian a year ago and that flower doesn't look familiar to me at all. Can you possibly post a photo of the entire plant, or the leaves?

It looks like a Paw-Paw, Asimina. Compare with Fig 4 here:

Hey neighbor! Thank you so much for the quick reply. I will take more pics tomorrow. Isn't it odd?? It smells sweet like Apple juice but it also has a funky soured smell to it as well.

@sooby, good eye! Thumbs up

I've never grown Pawpaws (Asimina) and didn't even think of that one! It sure looks like Pawpaw (Asimina pygmea) might be a match but we currently don't have any photos in our database. For comparison, check out the second image here: http://www.afn.org/~afn10853/a... and also the fourth image on this page: http://www.science.widener.edu...
