I have an old ammo box I turned into a planter on the side of my house. I grew Basil and Rosemary and Mint in it last year. I planted some Petunia's and put some little cactus in it. Is it ok next to eachother ? I know that the petunias attract butterflies and other bugs, and I don't want them to get stabbed by the cacti .

Silly question , but I'm new to this, I want a healthy planter box.
Thanks !

I would remove the cactus from that container, it prefers to be on the dry side with lots of full sun and a much grittier media.

Petunias may like as much sun too, but it is the watering aspect that will be significantly different.
