Hi wilfred1, Welcome!

I don't know a thing about Peonies but just wanted to say welcome and I sure hope you find a source for the beautiful Peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Barbara')

Welcome!

If you're in the UK have you checked out the RHS Plant Finder? It says it lists three suppliers of 'Barbara' but I only see two shown, Kelways Plants in Picts Hill, and Binny's Plants near Edinburgh.

If you're not in the UK can you let us know what country you are in so that we know where to look?

Apparently there are three peony cultivars called Barbara in the Carsten Peony Database so you would need to quiz suppliers as to which one.
Apparently Swensons in USA once had it?

There is a Peony forum here and the experts there may be more helpful.

*Blush* Beautiful Peonies won't grow here in Florida and I had no idea we had a specific forum for them! Here's the link to the forum: https://garden.org/forums/view... I bet some of the members who grow them might have suggestions!
