I don't think it could be Mimosa pudica, being so old and woody, but possibly Albizia julibrissin, commonly called Mimosa tree. Are you able to add a pic of the whole entity?

Honestly without more information, it may not be possible to provide an accurate ID. Where is this plant (what part of the world)? It could be a Mimosa (Alibizia sp.), but it could also be any one of a number of other bipinnate trees (including tropical and temperate possibilities). One thing I know with a fair degree of certainty: it's not a houseplant and will likely only live a short time indoors.

Hi Mortipalm, Welcome!

My first thought was also Albizia julibrissin, commonly called Mimosa Tree (Albizia julibrissin) although I've never known anyone to grow it indoors as a houseplant.

It is a replica Mimosa in that photo. In smaller size it can be used indoors as a novelty "Sensitive Plant," but it is not a long-lived indoors and will never reach that size indoors.

Mimosa tree (Albizia julibrissin) leaves are not "sensitive" to touch like the plant Mimosa pudica.
